The Validity of the Bible

Generally I only work with the King James Version of the Christian Bible, because it is the oldest of the Mass Produced Bibles. First published in 1611, it became the foundational authority for Christian authority in England and later America, for centuries it was considered without doubt to be the infallible and inerrant Truth of God.

To question the infallibility and inerrancy of the KJV Bible could and did result in a person's execution as a heretic. Catholic Authority based upon the KJV Bible was not really questioned until it was challenged by Martin Luther in 1517 and who was later excommunicated by the pope in 1521 a little over a hundred years after the establishment of the KJV Bible as being infallible and inerrant.

This was the beginning of the reformation movement of the Catholic Church resulting in hundreds of Christian Sects being created. All later versions of the KJV Bible should have not been needed if the KJV Bible was in fact infallible and inerrant.

If the KJV Bible was indeed infallible and inerrant then printing "updated" versions of the King James Bible should have been considered heretical. After all how can one update "Change" the infallible and inerrant word of the one true and only god?

As should be obvious to everyone by now the KJV Bible is neither infallible nor inerrant and if the 400 plus year old KJV Bible is not infallible nor inerrant how can any updated version of it be infallible and inerrant. The simple fact is they cannot be, if the King James Version of the bible is with flaws and is fallible then any updated version of it would also be fallible and with flaws.

Now Christians try to get around the obvious flaws and fallibility's of the KJV by publishing updated bibles to correct some of the flaws of the KJV but as I stated earlier this means nothing. They also claim that the bible must be read through the relationship with the holy ghost. That for a non Christian to take the bible literally is wrong because only through the holy ghost can the infallible and inerrant truth of god be known.

This is of course irrational for any bible to be considered infallible and inerrant, it must be read literally, and the meaning of that reading must be the same for everyone that is the only way that a bible (holy book) can be considered infallible and inerrant.

The moment that you allow personal interpretation of a holy book, you are denying that the holy book is infallible or inherent for the Truths derived from that interpretation is based upon the individual not upon infallible or inerrant Truths, because each individual will interpreted that readings based upon their own experience and knowledge and the interpretations will be different based upon the individuals interpretation.

The moment you claim a holy book must be interpreted you are saying that it does not have Universal Authority nor does it have Universal Applicability to everyone since not everyone will have the same interpretations of the holy book.
